An architectural environment of raw concrete, considered light, dark and grunge textures, and adaptable floor plans suited to exhibition work.

ii

Gallery-grade lighting

Adjustable systems suited to artwork, sculpture, and installation.

iii

Production support

Install, hang, and event-night logistics, coordinated with you or your team.

iv

Audience access

Documentation

Professional photography and video documentation, available through partner production company Overgrown Productions.

vi

Hospitality

Opening-night F&B, talent reception, and visitor flow can be arranged as part of the engagement.

Frequently asked questions

How do I exhibit my work at Begrüntes Haus?

Submit a proposal with a short description of the project, visual material, and your preferred timing. The Haus team reviews submissions on a rolling basis and responds within five business days.

Solo shows, group exhibitions, conceptual installations, photography exhibitions, time-based and immersive work, cultural pop-ups, and curated programmes that fit the space's intimate scale and architectural character.

Begrüntes Haus is a multi-disciplinary creative venue that programmes exhibitions alongside other formats. The space functions as a gallery when curated as one — but it is not a permanent commercial gallery, and does not represent artists in an ongoing capacity.

Both. Some exhibitions are straightforward venue hires, where the artist or curator pays for the space and produces independently. Others are co-produced — the Haus shares the production lift, the marketing reach, and the financial structure. Each engagement is agreed per project.

It depends on the format. Venue rental engagements involve a fee. Co-produced exhibitions are negotiated, and may involve revenue share, sponsorship arrangements, or in-kind contributions of production. The Haus is open to creative structures.

Artists with a clear point of view and a body of work that benefits from intimate, considered presentation. Both established practitioners and emerging voices are welcome. The space rewards focused, well-curated work over volume.

Exhibition durations are agreed per project. Typical formats range from short pop-ups of a few days to extended runs of several weeks. Multi-month residencies can also be arranged for the right project.
